Equipment

Changes in industry standards and the progressive trend to more professionally clean and dry structure has resulted in vastly improved equipment.  We have 100's of pieces of drying equipment, 4 truck mounted carpet cleaning plants, ultrasonic cleaning equipment and personnel trained in every aspect of usage.

     Xtreme Xtractors
     Tempest air movers
     Gale Force/Vane Axial fans
     Max Force air movers
     Phoenix 200's dehumidifiers
     Desiccant dehumidifiers
     Air scrubbers
     Air Wolf
     Injectidry systems/walls
     Injectidry systems/floors
     Infrared camera
     Moisture detection & monitoring equipment
     Ultra sonic equipment
Water claws, fan stands, brackets, ramps, etc.

We have converted most of our air moving equipment to Gale Force air movers.  We have done this for several reasons.

  • We can move approximately 35% more air with about 1/3 amperage draw.
  • Less electrical cost to the homeowner.
  • Less heat generated by the equipment.

Why we use Low Grain Refrigerant (LGR's) Dehumidifiers:

LGR (Low Grain Refrigerant) Dehumidifiers use a double cooling or enhanced step to lower the moisture laden air temperature once inside the dehumidifier so more condensation can form on the internal cooling coils.  As condensation builds up on the coils, the water droplets drip into a collector  and  is discharged from the dehumidifier through pumps, or into a floor drain.  LGR units provide the best moisture removal for refrigerant dehumidifiers and produce air that is dryer, heated and with less moisture than CGR units

  • Phoenix 200 Max draws only 7.2 amps
  • Removes 30 gallons (240 pints) per day
  • 115 volts
  • AHAM efficiency = 133 pints
  • 285 CFM

We have several desiccant dehumidifiers of different capacities.  Used primarily for specialty drying projects where extremely low grains are required.  For example: wood floors, crawl spaces, etc.

Desiccant Dehumidifiers  remove water by absorbing the moisture from the air as it passes through a moisture attracting material.  Like a cracker or potato chip left out, it becomes stale because it attracted/pulled moisture out of the air and into the cracker.  Desiccants can reduce the relative humidity far below refrigerant dehumidifiers and are used for drying materials like wood flooring.  Desiccants also pull more when humidity is low but are not as effective when humidity is high.  Best used after refrigerant dehumidifiers can no longer pull moisture at a high rate.

Extreme Extractors are self propelled extraction tools designed to remove water from both carpet and pad.  The unique design allows the operators weight to be placed directly over the vacuum orafice allowing for compression of the pad, and removal of water from both the carpet and pad.  This process is extremely important to achieve successful drying of all components.

The ThermalScan Infrared Camera can be used on nearly any building material including roofing, drywall, floor covering, exterior finishes, insulation and more.

Utilizing state of the art thermal imaging, locating moisture non-destructively has never been easier - or faster.  Scan walls, floors, roofs, exterior finishes and more.  The temperature difference created by the presence of moisture will appear differently than the surrounding area.

Monitoring drying curves with the Infrared Camera can greatly reduce drying time.  By locating problem areas, simple changes in equipment placement can be made.

We have 3 sizes of portable air scrubbers which includes the smallest and most portable model, designed for air cleaning in small areas such as attics, crawl spaces, motor vehicles, boats.  This model is ideal for use in your home or office to remove contaminants such as cigarette smoke, dust from small remodeling projects, etc.

The larger models, including the Phoenix Guardian HEPA System captures virtually all removable airborne particles.  While performing as an air scrubber, the triple-duct discharge collars can be ducted to manipulate the air flow in a structure.  This can provide the benefits of a negative air machine to control the spread of contamination.  The 18" intake collar can be ducted to pressurize areas for protection from contamination or to draw contaminated air from areas that are difficult to access or too small to accommodate an air scrubbing device.

In some situations, wet areas are unreachable with dry air.  By using injection systems, we are able to deliver dry air and rapidly dry wall cavities, ceilings, cabinets, etc., by the proper placement of injected air.  Wall drying can become problematic due to certain wall coverings, non porous paints, and enclosed insulation
